mindyricketts > For Chinese New Year's day, people spend four days praying to their families ancestors for new wishes and to take away the bad luck from the previous year. It brings luck to sacrifice a chicken, and to cook noodles, duck mushrooms and other vegetables. It is considered lucky if you eat them. The apples are typical of Guangdong province.
